Ferrari Shows Fighting Spirit in Baku

Baku, Azerbaijan 21 September 2025

From 19–21 September, Ferrari once again demonstrated determination and teamwork at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, delivering a performance full of promise and resilience on the streets of Baku..

From the very start of the weekend, the Scuderia looked competitive — with Lewis Hamilton setting the fastest time in Free Practice 2 and Charles Leclerc just fractions of a second behind. This Ferrari one-two in practice underlined the strong potential of the SF-25 and gave fans a reason to believe.

On Sunday, both drivers fought hard in challenging race conditions. Hamilton brought the car home in P8, with Leclerc just behind in P9, scoring valuable points for the team and keeping Ferrari in the fight for the Constructors’ Championship.

The race also showed Ferrari’s commitment to teamwork and strategy. Leclerc made way for Hamilton late in the race to give the team the best possible chance to attack the cars ahead. Though a planned position swap in the final moments didn’t quite come off, Hamilton apologised after the race — a sign of the strong mutual respect and unity inside the team.

While the result didn’t fully reflect Ferrari’s pace, the team leaves Baku with optimism. The performance in practice and the points collected confirm that Ferrari is ready to keep pushing, and with every race, the target of fighting for podiums becomes closer.
